Saya tak keluar satu sen pun untuk majlis anak, kata Zahid Hamidi

Timbalan Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi hari ini berkata, beliau tidak mengeluarkan satu sen pun untuk majlis perkahwinan anaknya di Jakarta, selepas pihak berkuasa memanggil seorang blogger Umno kerana mempersoalkan masa majlis tersebut diadakan yang kebetulan sama dengan lawatan beliau ke Indonesia.

Zahid juga mendedahkan, bukan satu kebetulan yang majlis perkahwinan anak lelakinya itu dibuat serentak dengan lawatan rasminya ke republik itu, lapor portal Malaysiakini.

Beliau berkata besannya, yang mengeluarkan semua perbelanjaan untuk majlis itu, sengaja merancang mengadakannya pada waktu itu selepas mengetahui beliau akan berada di sana atas kapasiti rasminya.

"Saya tidak membelanjakan sedikit pun wang untuk melayan mana-mana pihak. Majlis itu bukan saya punya, ia dibuat besan saya," beliau dipetik berkata oleh Malaysiakini pada satu sidang akhbar hari ini.

"Saya tidak belanja wang untuk mana-mana menteri atau tetamu daripada Malaysia bagi menghadiri perkahwinan itu," katanya.

Beliau berkata kenduri kahwin anaknya dan menantunya dari Indonesia itu sudah pun diadakan di Kuala Lumpur, sebelum majlis di Jakarta itu. – 1 Oktober, 2015.

Zoo Negara nafi harimau belang mati ditembak seperti diviralkan

KUALA LUMPUR: Zoo Negara menafikan bahawa seekor harimau belang jantan di zoo berkenaan ditembak sehingga mati.

Pengarah Zoologi dan Veterinar, Pusat Konservasi Panda Gergasi, Dr Mat Naim Ramli berkata berita yang menjadi viral menerusi aplikasi WhatsApp itu tidak patut dijadikan bahan jenaka.

"Dengan penyebaran berita palsu yang tersebar luas bermula semalam, pihak kami telah dihujani pelbagai pertanyaan dan ketakutan dari pihak awam," katanya.

Beliau berkata Zoo Negara sentiasa memastikan kawasan dan persekitaran zoo sentiasa dalam keadaan selamat untuk orang ramai berkunjung.

Aplikasi itu menyebut kejadian berlaku pada jam 9.30 pagi dan saksi di tempat kejadian mendakwa harimau berkenaan berkeliaran di kawasan zoo dalam keadaan lapar sebelum ia ditembak oleh polis. - BERNAMA
