Hi all! I'm new to technical analysis and am trying to make technical analysis model in Excel.
I am using candlestick analysis, which need to be studied together with downtrend/uptrend. I'm using the LINEST function to calculate the slope but don't think it is an accurate way to capture historical up/downtrend.
Can anyone share about how to identify historical price trend using excel formula? Thanks in advance.
