In today’s economy, many people are having trouble affording a new car, so what happened to the unsold cars? Instead of being sold at a discount, they’re being abandoned in vacant lots and left to die, apparently. Take a look. I guarantee it’s more cars than you think it is.

These thousands of care being left for dead in Sheerness, UK.

Car manufacturers have to buy surrounding land to make more room for unsold car. Below in Swindon, United kingdom.

Here is a tiny fraction of the many parks that exist all around the globe. This is one in Baltimore, Maryland.

This used to be a Nissan test track that is now being as, you guessed it, a lot for unsold cars

This look likes an employee parking lot, but nope, it’s filled with unsold cars.

Apparently, the manufacturers can’t stop making new cars because they would have to close factories and lay off tens of thousands of employees, which would be hard to open up a new one and rehire new employees if demand picked up.

But I think the real reason is that car manufacturers don’t want to sell these cars for cheap is because these ‘cheap cars’ would cannabalize new car sales with higher margins.

This is one in St. Petersburg, Ressia.

Upper Heyford, Bicester, Oxfordshire.

Royal Portbury Docks, Avonmouth in the UK

A zoomed out version of the one above.

Fun fact: There are more cars on this planet than people.

Corby, Northamptonshire

Italian port of Civitavecchia

A zoomed up version of unsold cars. These cars work perfectly fine.

This is incredible. I never thought having too many cars would be a problem.
